Known as the "City of Lakes", Minneapolis is hardly "wet behind the ears." In fact, a recent report by The Brookings Institution and London School of Economics that looks at the economies of 150 global metropolitan areas, has found that the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area has one of the top-performing economies in the United States.
Top Performing Economy
The Twin Cities' economy ranks 44th among the 150 markets for the "recovery" period of 2009 and 2010 on the Global MetroMonitor report, trailing only Austin, Virginia Beach, Dallas, and Baltimore. The report lists Minneapolis-St. Paul as being on the "road to full recovery." Skyscape is certainly feeling the effect of that renewed energy.
