Both Dan and Amy work for General Mills and purchased a 1-bedroom + den condo at Skyscape with a downtown view.
In relocating from the East Coast to the Minneapolis area a few months ago, we wanted to live in a place that would allow us to really enjoy the city. For a number of reasons, Skyscape was that place. We looked at a number of places in and around the city, and decided on Skyscape due to it's contemporary feel, all of the amenities, and of course the location. The atmosphere at Skyscape truly compliments our personality and our active lifestyle. And, most importantly the location allows us all of the conveniences we had hoped for.
Being only blocks from everything downtown, the Light Rail, and all major highways, we can live, work, and play just minutes from our doorstep. We couldn't be happier with the decision we made!
Monica is one such buyer—she is a public accountant in downtown Minneapolis and purchased a 1-bedroom condo at Skyscape.
I bought my new place at Skyscape near the end of the projects completion in June of 2007 and was able to move nearly a month later. The best part was that, since I was renting at the time, Skyscape made it an easy transition to break my current lease and move into my new home as soon as I could. Skyscape is so close to the downtown nightlife and, since I work just a few blocks away, I get the best of both worlds.
Then there are times where I just want to relax at home, which is what enticed me the most about Skyscape. The building has so much to offer than just my private residence. I can go right downstairs to the retail space for a drink or a bite to eat at our very own restaurant named Otho, or I can hangout with my friends on our private park. Not to mention this is such a great place to meet friends and neighbors!
Since I work odd hours, as a public accountant, having a workout facility just down a few floors down couldn't be more convenient. Not to mention since Minnesota isn't the warmest place, having heated parking in the winter is always a bonus!
